He gave the game a 4.5 out of 10. “Let me break down everything. The glitching and everything that was happening, that was kind of a little pain in the a—. For a triple-A, $100 million marketing
3. brokenmessiah. • 10 mo. ago. November 2023 is hardly 'pretty soon'. Vanguard and Cold War and MW2019 still are very popular games. They may lose players but they still are cod and have more players than most other games will ever reach even at their lower points. 10. TheTikiMax. • 10 mo. ago • Edited 10 mo. ago.
According to this article, as of April 2022, there are still 85,000 players per day on the servers playing the game. Although, that is compared to the 30 million-ish players per day that play current versions of the game. If you’ve never played it I think it’s a shout. It’s the best CoD since PS3 Era for me.
Game constantly crashes after Season 5 update. COD MW2 started constantly crashing after 2-5-10 minutes of play after Season 5 update. I already reinstalled the game and set RenderWorkerCount to 8 but nothing helped. CPU AMD 7800x3d with 4090. Everything worked perfectly before this update.

A lot of the community seems mixed on the multiplayer because the gameplay has come a long way since then and they didn't remove things that some players hated (overpowered noob tubes, Juggernaut, last stand etc.) 1.
Yes, there are aimbots and hacks out already, but with such a huge number of sales, I haven't run into a hacker yet. If you want a fun, new, engaging experience then grab MW2. It's good fun, and if you ever get the urge to have all-out warfare with a huge team, hop back on MW1 for an hour or two. Edit: I added some more points to the list
I didn't read the review. Mainly because IGN is a joke. Vanguard was the worst campaign in COD history. It's 2 hours of random flashbacks introducing the doughy ass cabbage patch kid looking main characters. MWII's campaign was incredible. Further solidifying that IGN is crap.
Modern Warfare 2’s campaign is a masterpiece, in the worst way Reversals and refractions By Ed Smith Oct 28, 2022, 1:39pm EDT I feel like it’s in the spirit of Call of Duty: Modern
I really don’t get the hate behind this game. I find the weapon leveling unique and allows you to use every weapon.
