🏉 Is Resident Evil 6 Really That Bad
Ni_Go_Zero_Ichi. • 4 yr. ago. No. Most of the people who called RE5 “bad” either couldn’t accept that it was a co-op game meant to be played with a (real, human) co-op partner, or insisted on comparing it to the pre- 4 survival horror titles which it wasn’t trying to emulate. As a co-op action game, it’s very good. 1.
The point of tank controls in older resident evils is that every combat was a choice. Run away or fight, not both. In RE 6 you can easily beat every single enemy you come across. No need to ever run away. The melee is super OP, the counter system makes you practically invincible, and the enemies just are not competent enough to ever be a threat
RE2 is the easiest of the classic resident evil games, and is way more straightforward than the old Silent Hill games. Plus both of these series use very similar gameplay structures, minus the limited inventory. Silent hill can be much more cryptic, one of the items required to get the good ending in the original isn’t explained at all
I have only played Resident Evil 2 (remake) and Resident Evil 6. I don’t really understand the hate for 6. It’s very different and very goofy, but for the most part it was quite fun to play Co-Op with a friend and shoot different monsters with the satisfying gun play or laugh at over the top moments. Resi 2 is no doubt a better game.
It sounds like the original style just isn't for you and that's a fair reason to not like it. Resident Evil more or less played a massive part in tank controls, the camera angles and puzzles that make no sense but Umbrella really loves it's puzzles. REsident evil 4, RE2 and 3Remake, Revelations feature the gameplay that RE4 introduced.
Turn down the difficulty to the easiest and you'll have enough ammo to murder everything. It's survival horror, you're supposed to not be able to kill everything and juke enemies. Not to mention that iirc, this is literally the only game in which you can just outright block attacks instead of having dodge or juke them.
The Resident Evil franchise is known for its excellent level design, gameplay mechanics, and challenging boss encounters featuring some of the most powerful bosses in gaming history. William
For Resident Evil 6 on the PlayStation 3, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Is it really that bad?".
The remake will likely be very different and the original is an outstanding game that is very much worth playing (after you’ve played the remake if you want to experience that first). RE5 is a much better game than RE6 in my opinion and also very much worth playing. Re 6 is worth 20 bucks, yes.
He's super scary in this, can sprint really fast and drop out of the sky to surprise you. But the problem is, there are barely any non scripted sections in the game where he roams the map like Mr X in RE2 remake. So it's almost a waste. Other than that, the game is really linear, has little bonus content, is short and has lots of missing sections.
It’s incredibly hard, especially compared to the hardcore modes of RE2R and RE3R. I think it’s due to RE4 being a much more unpredictable and tense game. Honestly if you feel like it’s more annoying than fun I think it’d be a good choice to swap to Standard. A run through on Standard and a bit of research can make the Hardcore mode much
By Melissa Sarnowski. Published Apr 18, 2023. Ada Wong is a mysterious character in the series, but the events she participates in after Resident Evil 4 remake are documented to an extent. Resident Evil 4 sees the return of the mysterious Ada Wong in both the original and remake versions as her mission has her come across Leon S. Kennedy again.
