🌖 Ford Mondeo Mk4 Door Lock Problem

Hi, i have a 2008 mondeo titanium hatchback 1.8 diesel. Been having a lot of issues with the alarm going off for the past week with the dash saying alarm serive required, Taken it to my local garage and we have changed the interior sensor for a new one and checked the siren alarm and all is fine. 96 door lock problems - far0n : The drivers side door lock on my 96 fiesta has developed an annoying problem. Once inside the door frame there is a Torx screw holding the position of the handle/lock mechanism. Just slacken it off a bit and push the handle/lock mechanism towards the outer end of the door and tighten up. Anyone know where, in the UK, I can purchase the (big) motors for the door lock mechanism on a Mondeo Mk4. I've ordered one from China, which could be here any time but I'm on my 3rd lock mechanism that's sticking and previously I've taken the motors apart and cleaned them up (and they work) - it's just a bit of a faff. Hi, I had the same issue with my alarm going off randomly. I took it to the dealer in plymouth and £400 later the problem appears to be fixed. You need to remove the interior tailgate trims which are held on by 2 screws and a lot of clips, remove the top trim first then the 2 side trims, then take the 2 screws out of the grab handles on each side and unclip the lower trim, below shows the location of the clips and screws on a 5 door (estate is .
