π Mount And Blade Bannerlord How To Get Mercenaries
Prophesy of Pendor had a mercenary system similar to Bannerlord's, except you didn't have to personally find the party on the map to hire them. You could just talk to your Minister at your court (if I recall correctly) and hire mercenaries through the dialogue menu. I massively preferred that.
The AI should not be able to recruit mercenary clan from the player faction, if they are at war and they should not be able to recruit via telepathy. We need telepathy skill too. In medieval times a King doesnt always travel around the world to find mercenary leader. Instead he sends envoys, messengers etc.
I know, it doesn't make sense, but when you execute enemy lords, your own lords start hating you, because you become "dishonorable" and they will not offer you anymore castles like at all, even if you lead the assaults. Because if you kill your enemy, they win. #6. Super Cosmic Space Magnet Apr 22, 2020 @ 7:16pm.

So the mercenary pay works off of influence. Someone posted a more in depth guide, but you can get paid more by donating prisoners (any, bandits, looters, soldiers or lords) to a castle or town. It doesnβt go by region or anything like that. You can also gain influence by donating troops to a garrison.
Before you get to the point where you are "clicking on the X's" you need to order them built. There are small boxes on the ground with icons for the Ram and Siege Towers. There are 4 other boxes/outlines on the ground for you to select the actual siege engines. Click on and select the ones you want while the siege camp is being built.
There was a mod to fix it, the author mentioned it was to do with a bug with quests which reward you with honour: instead of adding the honour to 1, it just adds it to 0 so resets the honour you got from character creation. Which seems to be what's happening but I haven't looked into it myself. r/mountandblade.
Apr 11, 2020. #1. Now l don't know if it's just me or it's a feature, but the mercenary units available for recruiting from taverns are so weak. l saw only thugs and master thug, trade weapon archer or something like that dunno what's that. The strongest unit l discovered was after last patch (dunno if it's related or not) was hired blade.
This mod simply adds new vassal titles to Bannerlord gameplay. It's nothing but pure cosmetic change. However, it increases the immersion. You can see their names/titles on Campaign Map, as well as the Encyclopedia. Every individual's title is determined based on their clan tier and their effective role. Currently, the system separates them
Keep hunting their lords. They'll eventually take deals with other kingdoms and will eventually disband all together it takes a bit but it'll go away if they don't have a castle or town for long enough. To speed it up you can try recruiting them too. 8. GetKhumDhan69.
Navigate to the settlement/castle you want to grant to your companion. It automatically selects the closest. Open the party screen and talk to your companion. Click the "I wish to make you my vassal." option. Select the settlement you wish to grant them. Name the clan in the pop up.
Tia. You used to be able to assign specific units to specific groups, but they removed it. (They're working on bringing it back, though). go back to 1.6.5. The best thing I have found out now is to make a new control group for infantry in your case. and prioritise the weapon type of the mercenaries (aka shield, polearm).
